The Big Choke
Besides porn, I also really enjoy watching and playing sports. If you are a Detroit Tigers’ baseball fan, you probably aren’t very happy this morning. Talk about the big choke. Heavily favorites to win, but disappointing against St Louis. I really thought that they were going to win the World Series. They were on a roll after easily defeating Minnesota and Oakland and they looked simply unstoppable. A World Series win was inevitable especially since they had home field advantage. Maybe this was the problem? Or maybe, the week’s layoff hurt their timing and momentum. The hitters weren’t hitting, there were a lot of defensive errors in the field and questionable managerial decisions. Very reminiscent of the losing years of the Tigers.
Look on the bright side. There is always next year. With the strong and young pitching the Tigers have, the deep pockets of their owner, a really good manager and barring any unforeseen circumstances, they look like a strong team for years to come.
